The innovative design
of the solder system allows for many possible applications
of fully-automatic or semi-automatic selective soldering
applications . Precise solder-wire feed-rate through this
unique system provides a predictable and repeatable soldering
result to the highest quality required in modern soldering
standards. The 'Multiflex'
standard soldering unit provides a generous working envelope
of approximately 450 x 450 x 200 mm with a solder positioning
accuracy of better than 1/10 mm which is repeatable to
+/- 0.05 mm
The control system of the standard
soldering unit is accessed and programmed through a touch-screen
graphical user interface (GUI) to programming standards
IEC 61131 and DIN 66025. There is no low level programming
required. The GUI graphics and help text windows can be
arranged by the user.
There is an Internal modem for remote access and Rs232
for control and diagnostics are
integrated
The modular soldering
unit consists of a
standard but flexible production unit for ease of integration
into existing fully automatic production line systems,
or as a stand alone semi-automatic production cell
